A Valentine Sunday...

London is wearing her newiest Pipsqueak Couture Vintage Valentine Knot Dress....and Aspen has on her Valentine bloomers from last year...now capris...always exciting to see how much your kiddos grow in a year...these pants were full length last year!

I have to say if Valentine's Day and my birthday didn't fall in the month of February, I'm pretty sure I would not be a big fan of this month at all! It is exactly a year ago that pipes froze two floors above my shop and flooded it right out of business....and February is always the coldest, snowiest month out here in Colorado. No outdoor spring photoshoots here, that is for sure!

But I love Valentine's Day...what a fun holiday for the kiddos...we have spent the last few nights, and today working on our Valentines...we are about two thirds done at this point. Aspen takes about a half an hour to make one...and London decorates about a dozen in ten minutes. It really cracks me up...Aspen has to pull out 7 markers to do one Valentine...hand London a sticker and some glue and her's is good to go!

These are just a few of the ones we have been working on....and they are all sewn too! So they have a little pocket band for the kids to add and remove things from them.

This is what the dining room table, a.k.a. my craft nightmare space, looked like as we let the glitter dry on our Valentines! And as I said, we still need to make about 12 more!
