the mad tea party revisited!

Guess what? It's that time of year again....darling Miss V. is hosting her fabulous mad tea party in June....I will be just one of many participating....Bless it...Lord knows I will be mad and crazy with a baby and toddler trying to be creative! Don't you love her flyer? I want it for my girls' bedroom....

if you have to undress a baby...

If you have to undress a baby and put a new outfit on because she spit up on the old one...you might just as well....play dress up! That's just what London and mommy did! I am so untrained photographing a newborn again! I am used to kiddos that can sit up on their own! But we had fun regardless...we needed a few pictures of London in her Pipsqueak Couture!

Poor thing looks absolutely startled by me! Just get ready London, you have many days of modeling your mommy's designs ahead of you!

Dinner in the garden...

Last night we had our annual girlie dinner in the garden at my good friend Karen's house...and if I could move into this house...I would in a heart beat...especially since having London and not having the time to finish my garden just yet! Ugh! Here are a couple little, wee snippettes of her gorgeous yard....and the arbor Aspen was trying to climb! She knows a good garden when she sees one!

She has a pond with huge fish! Aspen was thrilled to feed them! And lucky Aspen got to pick flowers in this garden....something she in not allowed to do in my garden and her grandmother's garden! I can't even explain to you how phenomenally amazing this place is! Everywhere you look she has little flowers tucked perfectly in place...and it is groomed amazingly...not a weed anywhere....

Mommy, that dress is kind of ugly....well, you are wearing it...and by the way you picked the fabric...So she puts it on and gets lots of compliments on it all day long...and every time she tells the people who like her dress...this dress is kind of ugly!

hello dolly!

A small obsession for my mom and me these days...aren't they the cutest? I think we love them so much because they remind me of my daughter Aspen! Very fun to dress up, don't you think?

Which outfit do you prefer...feathers or a longer gown? These two are all of maybe 3 inches tall!

She is one of my favorites...mostly because my mother dressed her in a most darling outfit...I think this is quite the fitting way to display pieces of ribbonwork!

These two definitely remind me of Aspen! Their outfits are pretty fabulous as well I think! I just got a new one in a pink bubble dress made of old silk...I will have to post her later as I haven't had a chance to snap a pic of her just yet...

London calling...

So here is why I have been away from blogging for the month of April! I was preparing for the arrival of Miss London Valentina...and then all 8 pounds of her arrived on April 21st! One of my customers just took some pictures of her yesterday and here are a couple...I had to show you one in the purple peony flower hat!

She looks very similar to Aspen as a newborn except her hair is darker; Aspen had my red coloring and then lost it! What a sweetie! Aspen loves her just as much as her mommy does!
